Remember Safety First! Below are FT STEM-designed safety resources, tips and tricks to implement in your classroom!

Safety is the number one priority when it comes to scratch-build aviation. From cutting knives to fabrication equipment, having a solid safety foundation will make or break your FT STEM classroom experience. FT STEM is proud to have developed entry-level safety initiatives for Elementary (LE and UE) and a more in-depth industry equivalent for Middle and High School (MS and HS).

The progression of safety and the rigor with which we teach it starts basic with Elementary. However, teachers are encouraged to explore upper level safety lessons that can easily be taught across grade levels.
